Happy 70th birthday to Robert Hunter, the poet behind the Grateful Dead and the man who along with Bob Dylan has written the soundtrack to my life.  Hunter hasn’t slowed down at all with age, and just wrote lyrics for Jim Lauderdale’s album brand new album that came out this week.  I”m downloading it from iTunes right this moment, and can’t wait to give Robert’s newest work a listen.  Thanks to Robert for all the sweet songs to rock my soul.
